Talking Points Memo today detailed a rather amusing exchange between
Rock the Vote's Hans Reimer and Michael Medved on his radio program. Medved once more made the claim that no Republican supports privatization, and Reimer found a quote from
Rep. Chris Chocola (R - Indiana) as an example that Republicans are saying that this is a first step towards privatization.
Then, Medved came up with a rather novel way of refuting the argument.
He
denied that Chris Chocola is a real person. This goes beyond even O'Reilly territory. You can't make a decent argument, don't argue even the quote, but say he made the whole thing up! Next step: Bush was never president...
Funny thing is, these guys, probably Medved included, say they support privatization, but don't want to admit that they say it...okay...I can't even write that as a sentence. They don't even have the courage of their own f****d up convictions.
Anyway, Hans (who's a great guy, by the way, haven't talked to him in a couple of years...) has an update on his blog that has some rather amusing suggestions for calls to Medved's and Chocola's offices.
Maybe this isn't worthy of a diary, but it seemed like too much fun.
