My daughter is graduating from high school and she's giving the valedictorian speech next week. We're here in Colorado Springs, which everyone here knows is not known as liberal territory.
She's pretty quiet but would like to go out with a bang. The activist side of her cannot resist. She must be careful- school previews for content. But that is not to say that there might not be, ahem, a last minute rewrite.
Her theme is driving, with each person free to choose one's highways.
She's having trouble coming up with more driving/car allegories to life in the liberal lane. A few are jotted down but if anyone has any Witty thoughts on cars and driving that might relate to the current admin/war/women's rights/separation of church and state that you'd like to have shake up this land of Focus on the Family, please post.
