Since there seems to be a wave of polls today that might fall under the 'getting to know your kossacks' category, at the risk of just pushing everyone over the edge on a Friday afternoon, I thought I'd go ahead and ask about something I have been wondering about for a while: the next generation.
Before I ask this, let me state unequivocally for the record, that if you choose not to have children, I FULLY support your decision. I have had too many friends who made that choice be called 'selfish' when they are ANYthing but, so I don't want to hear any of that!!
Here's why I am asking the questions: I want to know what we, as a group, are doing to propogate our politics, worldviews, passion for justice, etc. in the youth of today (I am thinking under 18 here).
Even though some of the choices are about having kids (biological or adopted), I have tried to recognize all different kinds of contributions made to/with/for children -- please let me know if I've overlooked anything! And, please, expand on your poll responses -- they never tell the whole picture (and many of you may resemble more than one of these options!!) ;)
