Can't even identify the only driver from his home state:
"U.S. Senator Bill Frist (R-Tenn.), the honorary starter for Sunday's race, goofed in a pre-race interview with the media.
Speaking about his excitement for the Coca-Cola 600, Frist said, "I believe we have one Tennessean in the race: Sterling Martin."
Of course, the veteran driver's name he was attempting to say was Sterling Marlin, not Martin.
But being that Frist is the senate majority leader, no one bothered to correct him."
I trust the liberal media will play up this story as much as they hyped Kerry misnaming the football stadium in Green Bay
