If you ever needed a perfect example of the decrepit state of the corporate-controlled media, you will find no better "Exhibit A" than today's NYTimes. Today's paper is among the worst I have seen in years, and that is really saying something...It is simply stunning what has become of the paper. Today's ridiculousness:
- Judith Miller on the U.N Oil for food program. 'Nuff said.
- Todd Purdum's attempt to exonerate Bush on the DSM and other memos, using terminology and words better suited for a college newspaper
- A fawning profile of the Heritage Foundation's intern program
- Huge front-page piece and 1.5 inside pages on Michael Jackson.
I'm really kind of speechless
