Okay, this is not a diary to desseminate new information. It's more of a query for our late night Kossacks.
This is the thing that has really puzzled me. How do the other middle eastern nations outside of Iraq TOLERATE the horrible, horrible mess that the USA is creating? I am talking all nations except Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and perhaps Jordan. But what about the rest of the arab nations in that region? Yemen, UAE, Quatar, etc. and even Iran?
*more after the bump*
Sure, there is surely the lucious idea of the USA losing its arse financially and militarily?
But how can they fathom, tolerate, allow to persist the horrible mess that we are creating in Iraq (and for which the mess will definitely get worse)?
What's in it for them?
If a country from across the globe created a quagmire like we see in Iraq like down in neighboring Mexico, I would have something to say about it. Why not them?
Curious for any insights. Sorry this isn't a diary with insightful analysis. This is just a question that I have had, and I figured 'middle of the night' might elicit a few responses and little resentment that this is not posted in an open thread.
Thanks!
