Notice the "In response to Iraqi violations of the Southern No-Fly Zone, and in preperation for Operation Iraqi Freedom". . . so what was the basis of the "No-Fly Zone", anyway?  It wasn't the UN.  That leaves only one. . .

It's amazing to me how no one has pieced these two rather basic pieces together.  What exactly made Bush's war in Iraq so different from every other war in history?  The simple fact that the air campaign "designed to prepare the battlefield prior to the initiation of the ground campaign" was not considered to be an act of war.  Rewind back to 1991 and consider the basic difference.
