NOTE: When I wrote this I was thinking about repercussions. Hence the inclusion of Kenneth Starr, who hasn't been in the news for a half dozen years, but he was the original Clinton-basher and modern right-wing spinner, in my opinion, and I hold him responsible for inspiring a lot of that "talk-show rhetoric."
As for my exclusion of Hannity, it was up in the air between him and O'Reilly. But consider this: Hannity professes to be a conservative. O'Reilly does not. In my opinion it's much more dangerous when you have someone who claims to be an average American, spewing stuff like that.
