Could a hotel be built on the land owned by Supreme Court Justice David H. Souter? A new ruling by the Supreme Court which was supported by Justice Souter himself itself might allow it. A private developer is seeking to use this very law to build a hotel on Souter's land.

While the folks at freenation are libertarian assclowns, this is a great example of how we are going to lose a hugh swath of middle america with the defense of the indefensible decision in Kelo.
State Democratic leaders ought to author bills to strictly limit eminent domain, or risk a backlash of millions of Americans who view Kelo as nothing more than land theft.
