I am just in shock having been on vacation out of internet range for 10 days, returning yesterday. The "news" and "issues" compared to what I saw when I left, seem so
coordinated and planned, as if this was again, a way to deflect attention from the real issues. The London bombing made it to me but not much else and now back -
no Delay, minimal Iraq, minimal G8, some SCOTUS (but mostly rehash)... and a lot of Homeland Security...(but not criticism of our HS, instead, the standard "can it happen here" scare tactics.)
It made me think...my question is...
Do we burn out the public and the media by pushing too hard at the beginning and overwhelming them?
I know this generates controversey, but seeing the complete change of major news issues in just 10 days, I wonder if there is another approach. I honestly don't know but wanted others opinions...
Off to peel a few layers of skin...
