This should be interesting.
Update #5 [2005-7-14 18:18:33 by mrCurmudgeon]: As I'm sure a lot of you now know, it looks like this whole press conference thing was just a precursor to the Reid Amendment vs. Frist Amendment debate that has been going on now for the past hour and a half. You can watch the final vote on C-SPAN 2 right now.

Update #2 [2005-7-14 15:55:20 by mrCurmudgeon]:
Synopsis: Wilson and Schumer came across as cool-headed, straight-talkin' individuals. Wilson in particular shot down the RNC talking points with ease. Here's some highlights:
(All paraphrased)
Wilson: "I don't want Rove to resign, I want the President to honor his word."
Schumer: "National security, contrary to what Mr Rove thinks, is NOT a partisan issue!"
Wilson: (on how this isn't a partisan issue) "President Bush has requested full cooperation from his entire administration on this matter." (ed. note: therefore implying it's important to both sides of the aisle)
Wilson: (in regards to Cheney "not knowing about his trip" etc.) "I sent my report to the Vice President's Office, that he didn't read it is his problem." (ed. note: I missed the question, so I am assuming this is what Wilson was referring to.)
Wilson: (on voting for Kerry) "If someone outed your wife, would you vote for them?"
Wilson: "I've made my bones facing down Saddam, Rove has made his bones with political dirty tricks."
