The names of Republican Michigan Supreme Court Justices Robert Young and Maura Corrigan are being circulated as a
potential nominees
to take Justice Sandra Day O'Connor's seat on the nation's highest court.

Rev. Keith Butler has
picked up the backing
of former vice presidential nominee Jack Kemp and former Congressman
JC Watts
(
one of only four black Republicans to serve in Congress since 1900
). The two will fundraise for Butler in Washington.
