I saw on the Fox News crawl that they were somehow trying to make a connection between Al Zarqawi and the London bombings. Likewise, O'Reilly was spewing about the NYT's reference to Zarqawi as a "Jordanian". He was upset that they failed to use the approved inflamatory language.
Let's not forget that the White House deliberately let Al Zarqawi off the hook back in 2002 ==>

Here was a real terrorist, building real weapons of mass destruction; we knew where he was, he was running real terrorist training camps. But it didn't fit the White House's war plans at the time (May 2002) to do anything about it.
Now Al Zarqaqi is global war on terrorism enemy number one. Funny thing, that. We let him go, and now he's a convenient foil for the administration and the right wind echo chamber.
I think there's a lot of political hay to be made over the fact that this administration, ostensibly so committed to fighting terror, consistently lets real terrorists get away, so that they can come back and fight anotehr day (all the while justfying tens of billions more in military spending, amd constant erosion of civil rights.) The failure of accountability puts us all in more danger daily.
