What if we donated to the RNC ...

... on behalf of Sheehan to buy her an hour's time with the President?

Hey everyone.  First time blogger, long time surfer.  I was just reading an blog entry by The Peking Duck on Maglalang, and I came across this sentence from The Rude Pundit:

Maybe if she donated $100,000 to the Republican National Committee, he'd find some more time.

That got the wheels in my head a'turning, and now I'm thinking out loud (or at least online) ...

What if we gathered up a small pool of dough ... say, a thousand - or even ten thousand dollars!  Let's say we got outselves one of those oversized novelty checks that everybody loves, and gave the President a grand opportunity.

Meet with Cindy, and we'll donate $10,000 (or whatever) to the RNC!

Now, like I said, I'm just thinking out loud and wondering what would happen exactly.  What would be the likely outcome?

(I offer up this idea to anyone out there with more time and gumption that I can muster at the moment.  Oh, and as an added kicker, we donate the money to Operation Truth or the like if/when the President again refuses to meet with Cindy.)
