there this afternoon - a fine day, puffy white clouds in a deep blue sky, gentle breezes blowing.
There was a modest crowd there to hear the two women. One, State Sen. Becky Lourey, lost her son Matt a while ago in Iraq. Colleen Rowley was also there. She is running for the House of Representatives, looking to replace John Kline, who campaigned on the strength of carrying "the football" (as the case with codes for nuclear launch is known) and now simply carries water for Bush et al.

Anyone else from here there today?
