Bodies are lying in the streets, people need food/water. And what do I see tonight? Michael Chertoff on foxnews in his snappy suit talking about how much progress they are making. WTF?

Germany and Canada are just 2 of the countries offering help, why is our gov't refusing international aid? It's clear we can use all the help we can get, Bush practically admitted so when he bragged about authorizing foreign ships to help with transporting oil.

What is up with this thinly veiled blaming of the NO residents bringing this upon themselves for not evacuating in the first place? These are people without cars, without money to buy transportation before the storm and officials have the hairy swollen balls to tell them it's their own fault? Must be the same folks who think everyone on welfare is simply lazy and "chooses" not to work for a living.

I'm holding my breath because the tiny psychic gremlin that lives inside my head is constantly whispering that rove, cheney and company have been awfully quiet, but they are definitely working on something. How can we spin this thing, how can we distract the american people from this latest mushroom cloud of imcompetence, and hide our painfully obvious mishandling of funds that led to this tragedy. It's coming... but you can bet they are smoking cigars and playing golf while they scheme.
