RedState, which once again (not linking out of a sense of decency) makes the rediculous link, has labeled all those supporting the peace movement as Communists.
Wow.
RedState has done more for Communism than Russia ever did. Before RedState, you'd get laughed at if you said that 10% of Americans were Communists. Yet now, RedState proudly proclaims that a MAJORITY OF AMERICANS (who now oppose the war) are either Communists, or (giving them the best possible interpretation) sympathize and support Communists.
If Communism was still any real danger to America (and respectful apologies to those out there who think Communism would be a good idea, though I absolutely do not agree with you), wouldn't such an overlabel be the
last thing you'd want? After all, if everyone's a Communist, you can't use a list to blacklist them anymore. You can't keep them from even openly taking over political institutions through the power of persuasion, since those institutions were "controlled by Communists" now (like the CIA!!! and the State Department!!! Isn't this FUN???)
In reality, RedState needs to admit either that their communist baiting is either a dollar short and a decade late, or that they're polarizing America to a degree that's simply dangerous for the continued existence of Democracy. There's no third option.
