The Transformative Power of dKos Diaries

OK...so on Tuesday, I posted this diary as a plea to Kossacks to help me in my horrible job situation and give me advice on how to deal with it.

After I posted it, in a karmic turn of events, I received an e-mail from a firm that wanted to interview me.  Subsequently, I posted this diary telling everyone of the development and asking for help on how to handle the interview.

Well, I went on the interview yesterday, and...(more after the fold)

The interview seemed to go OK. But only two hours after the interview, I was called back for a second interview on Monday with the partners of the firm!

Is it a coincendence that I posted dKos diaries and these events happened?  Probably.  But I leave nothing to chance.  And I'm beginning to believe that this community has the transformative power to change our politics, but our personal lives as well.

So, as I prepare for interview #2, I just wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who posted and helped me out.  

I hope there's more encouragement out there as I continue down this path.  And I hope everyone can see how this "community" truly is a community that can change lives.

It takes a village, as the saying goes.  And our village is a powerful instrument for change.
