Fox Edits O'Reilly-Donahue Transcript! (Pathetic!!!)

This is hilarious -- in a vain attempt to make O'Reilly look just a little bit less pathetic, Fox News has edited the transcript of his exchange with Phil Donahue:

Bill O'Reilly has claimed in the past that his show is never edited, it seems that he was lying about that too.

Here is the unedited version:

DONAHUE: You can't hurt her. She's already taken the biggest punch in the nose that a woman can take.

O'REILLY: How?!

DONAHUE: She lost a son.

O'REILLY: Oh. OK.

DONAHUE: She's lost a child.

Now look at the edited version put out by FOX:

O'REILLY: OK.

DONAHUE: She's lost a child.

Donahue destroyed O'Reilly in that interview, and I expect O'Reilly will be blathering about it for weeks to come, as he is wont to do whenever someone gives him a black eye.

BTW -- is anyone trying to check out whether O'Reilly really does in fact have a nephew who enlisted in the military?  O'Reilly has such a history as a serial liar, I wouldn't be surprised if he made this up out of whole cloth.  Especially considering how enraged he was at Donahue, he easily could have just blurted something out like that to defend himself, even though it wasn't true.
