Hillary Clinton takes a licking in the fantasy polls taken on this Web site, but she is easily the favorite to win the nomination three years from now, and she very well might be unstoppable.
The netroots don't like her, but the fact is that the netroots is a very small community that can't exert much influence on the presidential nomination process. Hillary is far more popular among rank-and-file Democrats - regular people, not obsessed activists - than any other candidate.
She will have the black vote, she will have a lot of support from women's groups and the pro-choice lobby, she'll have the Hollywood vote and, most importantly, she will have the vote of Democrats for whom politics isn't an all-consuming passion - a HUGE group of people.
