I watched a truly unbelievable interview on CNN this morning between Miles O'Brien and former senator John Breaux.
O'Brien ends the interview with a question which must have been written for him by Karl Rove, "Don't you think it is reprehensible for Democrats to make political hay over this?"
I'm not kidding. He really asked that. He didn't ask, "Why do you think the President appointed a horse lawyer as head of FEMA?" He didn't ask, "Why was the President attending fundraisers rather than dealing with the hurricane all week?" He didn't ask, "Why did the President LIE on national television that nobody predicted the dikes to fail?" He didn't ask, "Why is it that four years after 9/11, there are no plans to cope with a large scale disaster in the United States?"
ATTENTION MILES O'BRIEN - when polticians screw up it is the duty of the opposing party to point out to the people how badly they screwed it up so that the people don't make the same mistake in the future. That's how it works in America, dipshit.
