I am a young kid by most standards, only 19 and just starting College. I am supposed to believe that the future is going to be better than the past and I guess I still do. This week has seriously tested that believe. There is nothing anyone can do about national disaters and while the extent to which Global Warming may have played a role in the disater wil be gathered later. What is so unbelievable is the poor performance of our disaster response team.

I never liked this Adminstration but like most Americans I thought that while they may disagree with me on the nation's priorties or what the role of the federal government should be. I understand we won't agree on choice or the environment or a host of other issues. But in the end, I still thought they were Americans, and while they had disaterous policy and had a degree of indifference to human suffering, they were still Americans. Not anymore. No American would be on vacation for two days after a national crisis, this was my pet 48 hours. No American would enjoy Spamlot when they were entrusted with a position of National Importance and are needed. All of this was simply criminal. This isn't Democratic or Republican it really isn't. You can still try to appoligize for these people but it just seems impossible, The President Major Selling Point was his ability to respond in a crisis. Mission Accomplished. Re-Election Accomplished, America left to lose Cities. And from their Congressional Leadership, Eliminate the Estate Tax and Not Rebulid a Iconic America City. I am sorry I may not deserve much, but I deserve more than. No other group of leaders of this country have ever cared less for the American People and because of that, they aren't really Americans in the tradition of Washington Adams Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelts. This is the Taft. Flecter. Rowland, Delay Party. I am the Law, and I don't give a damm. Cut my Taxes. As an American, I deserve Better.
