In today's "me-first" society, it's refreshing to see that the director of the CIA, Porker, err Porter Goss is resigning--obviously to spend more time with his family. Trying not to be out done, the #3 man at the agency, Kyle "Dusty" Foggo, has followed suit in following his boss out the door and into his own family's life.
See more acts of unselfishness AND offer some helpful suggesstions below the fold:
Say what we want about the course of the country under the current administation, but this is concrete evidence that these gentlemen truely put the VALUE in Family Values. Please join me in commending this act of selflessness and also in applauding the same for Tom DeLay, Tom Ridge, Christie Todd Whitman, George Tenet, Colin Powell, Ted Olsen, Ari Fleisher, Scott McClellan, and John Ashcroft. All have resigned, without question "to spend more time with their families."
It's clear that working in (and with) this administration leaves even the most career-minded professional yearning to spend more time with his or her loved-ones. In the spirit of family, which current government employee should we encourage to follow these true patriots lead, and resign in order to spend more time with his or her family?
