Paul Bremer is speaking very soon to a group of students from local universities, but before he speaks he is going to meet with selected students(hey, that's me!) where we are allowed to ask him a question or two. While grandstanding may be tempting (and oh, how it is), it is not why I am going.
I'm going because I want to try and find out what his priorities and concerns were in terms of civilians while he was there and now as Iraq is being pushed to slowly stand on its own two feet. Any suggestions for topics/questions or materials I should read prior to this meeting would be deeply appreciated. The focus is on civil rights because that is the focus of my major.
I will blog the results of my meeting.
