Last night, a Kossack named A Patriot put up a post and a poll asking who do you despise more, George Bush or Osama Bin Laden. The results were as follows

OBL 57%
Bush 41%
392 total votes

Wow, how desperate are these schmucks? They're taking the responses of less then 400 members of a nearly 100,000 registered member community and using the fact that 41% of those despise Bush more than Bin Laden to call us "Unhinged" and on the "Lunatic Left".
Let me also clarify something about this poll that you may not know. When the poll was first posted, it was something like 2 or 3 in the morning. As such, a certain element of Kossacks was online that may be a little more out of the mainstream, and they had voted that they despised Bush more to the tune of 70% (and they gave their reasons in the comment section of the diary, which has since been deleted). The fact that OBL retook the lead as the less nocturnal Kossacks went online during the day shows that we as a community are not the quacks they want to paint us as.
I don't know if there is a message to all of this. I don't want to say that people shouldn't post certain things for fear of getting the entire community mislabeled because that amounts to a form of censorship. Or maybe I should just stop getting my blood pressure up and add the corner to my list of blocked sites.
