Bob Christy is trying to put together a deal to buy another radio station.
Goal: To show that the community supports KXXT and will continue to support them in the future.
The plan is to post the content of the emails on the KXXT website.
And Why should you care about one little Air America station in Phoenix?
Because 1010 is OUR community radio station
KXXT came into a state which is considered red. The progressives, liberals, democrats, independents and libertarians have embraced, supported and made it their own.(If I left your group out, it is not intentional)

KXXT 1010 Talk went on the air September 23, 2004 with the standard national Air America lineup with Ed Schultz from Jones Radio included. Within months, Charles Goyette was added in the 7-10am slot. Charles considers himself on of the most independent talk show host.
Charles Goyette broadcasting career has taken him from Flagstaff to Sedona and Tucson, with stops in southern California as well, before settling in Phoenix. In 2003 Charles Goyette was voted the best local air personality.
Charles positively delights in questioning the conventional wisdom. There is no political correctness, no sacred cow or authority that he won't challenge - with plenty of fun along the way!
Charles was the winner of the New Times Best Talk Show Personality in 2003
Just this last week Charles interviewed the following guests:
Addison Wiggin from The Daily Reckoniong (Economy)
Craig Murray -Ambassador to the Republic of Uzbekistan
Bob Prechter
Scott Ritter
Mordechai Vanunu - Israeli whistleblower
Mark Crispin Miller - Vote Fraud

Hosted by Jeff Farias & Kyrstin Sinema
Kyrsten Sinema represents District 15 at the Arizona State Legislature, elected in 2004. Kyrsten is a bold voice for progressive values at the state capitol. In her first session, she introduced legislation that would grant domestic partner benefits to same-sex couples, fought for criminal justice reform, defended immigrant and Latino civil rights, and was an unfailing advocate for working families. In addition, she worked to protect Arizona's environment, for which the Sierra Club named her this session's Most Valuable Player.
Jeff is the Producer of the Mike Newcomb Show on 1010 KXXT Air America Phoenix. He serves as a Democratic Party District Chair for LD 14. He is founding member and currently serves on the Executive Committee of local DFA chapter. AZ-Vote.
He spent 9 years in NYC working as a broadcast producer in advertising and on the documentary series The Eagle and the Bear. This 52 part program examined US - Soviet relations as seen through the prism of the Cold War and aired weekly on the A & E network.
One of my favorites is the
M & M Show here
Steve and Fred have been a major part of KXXT having live shows during weekends and holidays. When other Air America stations were sending their listeners into a coma with the "best of", Steve and Fred put in 4-5 hours a day to give Phoenix live broadcasting with sharp and witty rants, challenging the rightwing agenda. Check out their website for podcasts of their rants.
Fred and Steve McChesney, mix Berkeley and Phoenix liberalism for a unique blend of news, talk, and humor. They leave no right-wing myth unchallenged, and take all calls, right and left.
They're known for their knowledge of the issues, aggressive style, thought-provoking segments, biting satire, rollicking commercial parodies, and the best music anywhere. They bring you the rants, fake commercials, aggressive takes, and outside the box humor you've grown to love or hate.

ACTION
I do not want comments on the standard Air America lineup, I do not want to hear how Ed Schultz is not a liberal. I am trying to help keep a sane voice here in the desert, a voice that might turn this so called red state blue.
OUR Voice.
