They may be homicidal, oppressive, greedy, ignorant and insane, but they wish to survive and to survive in luxury.
The corporate media lapdogs have been sent to round up those insane neocon thugs they let loose in Washington six years ago now that the entire world is coming unglued. Who would have known? What harm could a foreign policy of pre-emptive war cause? Who would have guessed that nuclear weapons might proliferate? Now that they have their tax cuts and contracts for billions in borrowed tax dollars, and their deregulation, now they will cut and run just when it is time to pay the piper.
Oh joy, oh joy, the democrats are being invited back to clean up the mess and fix the trashed house after the big party, the Republican party, just like after Reagan got finished with his crimes against America. You remember the deficits, the arms for hostages, the terrorism he brought to South and Central America...
Yes, it is satisfying to see them fall. But for what? breaking campaign finance rules, taking bribes, sex talk with pages. I guess that's about all the scandal that America can handle according to our corporate masters. Just enough to get out with nothing too horrible to account for. After all, they will be wanting back as soon as there is any money in Washington to steal.
How about we talk about stealing elections, lying America into war,600,000 dead Iraqi people, spying on Americans and torturing!!!!! innocent people all over the world -- how about the millions of new terrorists..
Thanks a lot to the corporate media for keeping on top of the Foley story and for keeping the corruption in the news on through the election.
But this is not enough to save us or our corporate masters.
We are in big trouble and getting rid of the Republicans is only the first step.
Next -- we are going to have to face the truth about global warming and our future energy needs. Brand spanking new SUVs are coming off the production lines right now. That is insane. Our civilization is in denial and on a suicidal path.
The media is going to have to do much more than call our leaders out over their emails and their financing.
They need to be called out on their policies that are failing us.
