In the race for Wyoming's lone seat in the U.S. House, Democratic challenger
Gary Trauner leads incumbent Rep. Barbara Cubin (R-Wyo.) in third-quarter fundraising as well as cash-on-hand as of the end of September, accoring to the new filings submitted this weekend to the FEC.
KGWN-TV of Cheyenne has the story. Trauner raised $193,000 in the quarter (versus Cubin's $188,000) and had cash on hand of $333,000 (with Cubin at $325,000).
The Casper Star-Tribune will release a long-awaited Mason-Dixon poll of the race on Tuesday, Oct. 17. This will be the first public poll released since Rasmusson's on May 8.
