Wolf Blitzer started off tonight's Situation Room with 17 minutes on an unconfirmed terror report concerning dirty bombing 7 NFL stadiums
This on a day when 10 American soldiers died in Iraq, which has increased the body count to 67 for the month.
After 17 minutes Jack Cafferty finally ended Karl Rove's wet dream to discuss the 10 American deaths and ask (and I'm paraphrasing here) "Why are so many americans dying?"
Then Wolf came back to say he will be reporting more shortly on the unconfirmed terror threats. Thank you so much Wolf because the first 17 minutes to start off your newscast on un fucking confirmed terror threats just wasn't enough.
For weeks, I've been meaning to diary the question "When will the terror warnings start?" Now we have our answer.
And of course it's CNN, afraid by hill Rethuglicans of being "weak and too liberal" who have spend the most time on this. MSNBC spent a couple of minutes on it, and Fox has barely mentioned it yet.
God I hate Wolf Blitzer.
UPDATES: Thanks to kfred and The Raven quoting from SI.com showing the NFL is highly skeptical of these threats. And they are five days old. (please still show their comments some love).
Also, I just went to the CNN web site. Their headline on the story "Feds play down NFL dirty bomb threat". Also, the lead story on Yahoo now "US says threats to NFL stadiums not credible."
Just makes me hate Wolf even more.
