Last night at dinner I received an automated push poll from a group calling itself "Ohioans for Blackwell" which, when looked into on "the google" takes you directly to Blackwell's site.
More on the flip
I guess I'm not surprised. A desparate candidate doing desparate things --
The questions in this order were: 1)do you believe Under God should remain in the pledge (I kid you not. This is one of the issues(?) Blackwell is digging up -- Good god, Scotty, beam me the fuck up) 2) do you believe marriage is between a man and a woman (worked before, trying to make it work again) and 3) Strickland allowed a staffer to remain on campaign even after it was found that staffer had exposed himself to elementary children (whew boy -- this slime he's been throwin at every debate)
Cleveland Plain Dealer and Columbus Dispatch have covered this attack well and Strickland's response.
Doesn't Blackwell know that racism is IN, IN, IN for the republican party this year? Meanwhile, I imagine many white republicans in Ohio are pissed asking "why do we have to pretend to be the party of inclusion this year?"
I don't care how Blackwell can out wingnut any wingnut, the Party faithful are not going to vote for a black man, and the African American community is not going to vote for a candidate who does not represent their interest.
So who the hell is crazy enough to give that guy any money so he can continue to do this crap?
