Over at MyDD, Lucas O'Connor has put together an
excellent run-down of the progress being made on Chris Bower's Google Bomb campaign thus far. Please go over and take a look at his diary, and give him some love while you're at it - that was a lot of work.
As you can see, we're making progress, but we still have a long way to go on a number of races. After you take a look at that diary, please, if you haven't already done so, add one of the Google Bomb links from his diary to your DailyKos signature line, and please use the full name of candidate in the hyperlink.
At this point, I would encourage you to choose a hyperlink for one of the stories that doesn't appear to be moving. Strategically speaking, the ones that are already moving probably don't need much more help. If the article of your number one choice is already in the top 5, I'd encourage you to pick one of the ones that hasn't broken onto the first ten pages (still a lot of those).
Also, after you add a hyperlink to your signature line, please encourage others to do the same.
So far folks, this is really making some stories move, and I can tell you from the phone banking I've done in the TN Senate race, people are really starting to get on the net to find information. I've talked to more people who've formed their opinions about the GOP's racist attack ad from internet searches than from cable news, so at least based on my anecdotal experience, the time is right for this campaign. Undecided voters are making their final decisions, let's give them the info we want them to see.
Each action you take - from the Google Bomb to Phone Banking to Door-to-door outreach - makes you much more powerful than your one vote. Let's get out there and do all of it we can. I've resigned to only get on dKos at my employer's expense (ha ha), and will be volunteering the rest of my time instead of blogging away.
Let's do it y'all, we're in the home stretch.
