So Mr. Innskeep of "Morning Edition" on NPR interviewed Howard Dean this morning, and, just like his interview with Rahm last week,
which I commented on here in
this earlier Kossack diary Innskeep asked Limbaugh talking point type questions. His questions ranged from the inane
didnt you promise not to say anything about policy when you were running for the position of Head of the DNC
to the pathetic
if the Democrats win isnt this a win for the far-left of your party?
I have been listening to NPR for years, I wake up to it and listen to it in the shower as I get ready for work, and never before has Innskeep been so transparent in his right-wing questioning methods.
Dean, as Rahm did, seemed surprised by the nonsensical questioning, answering
of course I never promised not to talk policy, I was governor for 12 years and a presidential candidate for 2 more, and I am the head of the committee to elect democrats, no of course I never said that Steve.
What is going on? Is this just another example of confronting truth with fiction in order to call it "balance"? Who is giving Innskeep his marching orders?
Equally importantly, is this going to continue after November 7, or can I again listen to this man on Morning Edition without gagging and changing the radio dial to boring classic rock?
Anyone else notice this garbage invading our once hallowed station?
