I don't know. Maybe it's just the season. And yes it's old news. But there are a lot of fine people serving in the armed forces. A lot of them are giving their life and limb. I thought we were a country at war. 100 dead in Iraq this month. 657,000 dead civilians in Iraq.
And so this is how members of the President's family serve their country. Here is a photo of Pierce Bush, the 20 year old son of Neil Bush (the President's Brother) having a great time.
If we are at war, what the hell is President Bush's nephew doing being photographed with Leslie Cochran, the homeless transvestite whose campaign for mayor of Austin in 2003 was based on keeping Austin Weird. While I went to college and had a helluva good time, it seems somehow wrong that Pierce is spending his time at UT partying and drinking and laughing it up on Facebook instead of doing what members of the Eisenhower family, the Roosevelt family and the Kennedy family did during times of war. They signed up and served their country.
