A letter to my friend Mike:
You are fearless, an example of what we all need to be. I believe what
happened to you is just a taste of what will happen to any citizen that speaks
up, in the not to distant future.
I want to thank you for speaking out and asking the questions that the cowards in the media are too scared to ask. I'm furious that we are not allowed to ask these questions without being cast as unpatriotic potential terrorists; We are going down hill fast as a country.
Allen and the other Bushites just want us all to shut up.
Hoping to soon end these days of tyranny...

From www.peaceteam.net:
It has always been a sacred tenet of our Democracy that the U.S. military should not be deployed AGAINST American citizens. But literally in the dead of night and almost without comment, an amendment to the Insurrection Act was slipped into the just passed Defense Authorization bill stating, and get this:
"the President may employ the armed forces, including the National Guard in Federal service, to restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States when . . . the President determines that domestic violence has occurred"
Let's just say that people organized massive peaceful protests of the theft of their elections. And let's just say that the Bush administration provoked "police" riots, or even had their own provocateurs commit violent acts so as to justify a military crackdown. Voila . . . now you have American soldiers shooting at otherwise peaceful political protesters.

If winter comes, can spring be far behind?"
