Yesterday, I discussed the Elon College Poll of the NC-11 race. Today, I turn to the NC-08 race.
The Eighth District, as many of you know, is the only District in the south with a majority of registered Democrats where a Republican holds the seat. There are roughly 51% Democrats, 38% Republicans, and the rest are independent.
So far in our "early vote", we have seen:
16525 Total voters
5305 0.321028744 Republicans
9107 0.551104387 Democrats
Historically, they have outvoted us 2 to 1 during early vote, but that isn't happening this year.
The poll is interesting. Notably, more people have a negative opinion of their current Congressman than they do of challenger Larry Kissell, despite literally millions of dollars in negative advertising over the last few weeks. RT Strategies had this race at 48-44, in Kissell's favor. The negative ads haven't budged Hayes from his 44.
Please help answer these outrageous and shameful attacks.
