With the knowledge that Constanzo was a poster at Free Republic, I decided to wade over there and see if they had any response.
Put on your hipwaders and pull out the popcorn. quotes and commentary below the fold
here's the original if you want to wade in yourself

Many seem to suggest he's just 'one bad apple'
Unfortunately, looks like this guy did have an FR account. And even more unfortunately, we had not caught him yet.
Aren't there over 200,000 Freeper accounts now? There's bound to be a few bad apples in any group that size.
Why is it they never remember the rest of that proverb?
And if there are 200,000 accounts there, where are they? they average less than 30 posts in a popular article. even this article has only 43 replies.
I'm shocked to see MSNBC called Free Republic "some of the most thoughtful right-wing thinkers out there", instead of far right wingnuts.
Clearly, they fail to grasp sarcasm.
Here's someone who may not last long of FR:
Hmm no terror attacks since 9/11 on Bushes watch huh? Oh wait there was the anthrax...then the ricin attack in my home state and now this.
Its kind of funny there are no terror attacks in the United States as long as they are not directed to anyone on the left.
Good Job guys.
Others try the false equivelency argument again:
Remember that USENET democrat kook who tried to kill Richard Mellon Scaife several years ago, but ended up committing suicide instead in the bathroom of Scaife headquarters?
Its certainly something I've never heard of. But even if this is true (and I'm not taking a freeper's word), it is the 'But JIMMY does it!' argument that never flies with any parent. And doesn't stop Constanzo from being a terrorist.
And here's someone who just doesn't see the Irony:
I fear this is just the opening salvo. The individual nutbag is inconsequential in the larger scheme of things. One person holds up a liquor store and next thing you know they're confiscating guns from law abiding citizens. The slippery slope some mock as the invention of a paranoid mind really exists imho.
I'm laughing at that one. Are you sure you aren't paranoid, kid?
Another one thats darkly funny.
"and I think he thought of himself as one of their troops and wanted to live up to their standards."
Nonsense! Ann Coulter would never condone sending fake anthrax.
I suppose that if that's said sarcastically, it is a little funny. But still worrying.
