Now that Lieberman has left open the possibility of a party switch, which would give control back to the GOP, we must act to stop it.
His comment smacks of a power and/or money grab, almost advertising his loyalty is for sale and that his seat can be bought.
Lieberman promised the voters that he would stay in the Demo caucus, yet right after the election, he signals otherwise. Can this be called "Joe-Mama" rather than "Joe-mentum?"
What are the recall laws in Connecticut? If recalled, would his seat be filled by the governor (GOP) or would it be an elected position?
If it is an elected position, then we need to immediately publicly threaten such a recall in the event he makes a switch, to serve as a deterrent against his possible switch. Is Lamont interested in this issue? If so, he needs to come out on this issue right away.
