UPDATE: THE RACES HAVE BEEN CALLED FOR CASEY AND RENDELL
Benchmarks:
1. Expect both Casey and Rendell to prevail by 10+ points.
2. PA-03 and PA-09 and deep red districts considered to be 'safe republican.' For example in PA-09 Shuster captured nearly 70% of the vote in '04. Look for it to be significantly closer this time.
Meeting both of these benchmarks would support the idea that a democratic wave is forming.
