Can you vote in person after you have cast an absentee ballot?
My wife has already voted by absentee ballot. Since we live overseas, Minnesota election law only lets her vote for federal races. In our case, this is the Senate (looking like Amy Klobuchar will win comfortably) and MN-03 (south & west suburbs of Minneapolis, the only safe Republican seat in the state).
Unfortunately, my sister-in-law just died, and my wife has gone back to Minnesota for the funeral. She will still be there on the 7th. Can she vote in person, and can she vote in the state races if she does? The Governor's race looks very close, and we'd hate to lose a chance to cast a vote for Mike Hatch.
Obviously we intend that the absentee ballot would be discarded if she voted in person. There's not an intention to vote twice, nor would there be any point - both races in which she has already voted have comfortable margins.
