Okay, we're getting close. Close enough to be biting our fingernails and getting really cranky with our friends and families. (Especially those ones... That's right...you know who you are.)
And now, finally, close enough that we can start looking at the weather forecasts for Election Day. Which will give us something new to talk about, without causing us to stray too too far from what really matters to us all.
The latest national forecast maps after the jump...
Basic story -- a typical day across the US. The national weather mavens don't foresee anything exceptionally nasty, although it will be very rainy all day in -- and I am not making this up -- Seattle. Temperatures will be seasonable coast to coast.
Here are the precipitation maps for various times of the day:
First, 7am EST (polls open across the East)
Now 1pm EST (mid-day in the East, polls open nationwide)
Now 7pm EST (polls closing in the East, prime time elsewhere)
Finally, Wed. 1am EST (polls now closed everywhere - party time!)
There are close races everywhere -- anyone see anything that could tip the balance either way?
