I've been watching the stories that show up on the front page of Yahoo and google news for the past few days waiting to see when the levee would break on the "Republicans forced nuke instructions to be posted on public web site" story. Still waiting. Right now, we have stories about Haggard, because of the sex angle no doubt, criticisms of a bigfoot researcher, Iraq locked down in advance of the verdict, Mike Stark's run in with a pair of handcuffs (keep 'em sweating Mike!!), and that Bush said Dems will raise your taxes by 10,000% if they take over.
Not only is the nukes-on-the-net story not there, it's not on the most recommended, emailed, or highly rated lists.
What gives? This was a major NYT story, undoubtedly picked up by other services, and a genuinely alarming and relevant piece of news. How is it not front paged everywhere, unless there's a concerted effort to keep it quiet?
If ever there was a perfect piece of evidence against the left-wing media myth, this would be it.
