While Shrub has been busy making attempting to make the world Afghanistan and Iraq safe for democracy (hey, isn't that a really old Democrat slogan?), our own elections continue to be decided by very close margins, making the need for accurate and reliable voting machinery absolutely essential before the next presidential election. Congress should make it the number one priority. How should it be paid for? Straight out of the billions being spent weekly on the frolic-and-detour in Iraq. If Afghanis and Iraqis deserve U.S.-funded "free and fair elections," so do Americans. Not someday. Now. Let that be this moron's first veto. And Democrats' battlecry. It's time to play offense, Madam Speaker. They've stolen two national elections from us. Never, never again.
