A few weeks ago on ABC's Sunday AM show Mark Halperin pompously announced that anyone who thought that the Democrats will take over the Senate had too much time on their hands. Maybe Halperin will take a leave of absence to give himself some of that time to think things over.
Perhaps this will end his campaign to suck up to the right-wing bloviators. Earlier in this week Halperin appeared on the Colbert Report looking like he was about to be blinded by the light of the oncoming suv, though I thought Colbert treated him too easily.
This morning his NOTE was truncated, practically silent, except for Halperin genuflecting before the Bush's relevance. Maybe he will have to recall and rewrite his book now that his snarky certitude about politics has been proven wrong. While the canvassing and vote checking is going on in Virginia he needs to take a leave of absence. What will he have to say when the counting is over and Web takes the state and the Dems take the US Senate?
Any other media bloviators who will get their comeupance because of this election?
