Just like in Vietnam, US soldiers eventually joined the anti-war movement. History repeats. In a story that will come out in The Nation, over 1,000 soldiers have signed an internet a petition to their congressional representatives to withdraw US troops from Iraq.

This is a critical moment in the war of critical moments. When the troops start to vocally and publicly call for the end of US involvement, that is the beginning of the end. At least one hopes. It will be interesting to see how the MSM runs with this and how people react.
