In case you haven't heard this one yet, as I did over at
Unclaimed Territory, the right wing is now launching an all out attack on the NYTimes' travel section. Greenwald:
I learned today from Michelle Malkin, Powerline's John Hinderaker, Red State, and David Horowitz, among others, that The New York Times not only wants to help Al Qaeda launch terrorist attacks on the United States, but that the newspaper also wants to do everything possible to enable The Terrorists to assassinate Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld. That is the conclusion which these sober leaders of "conservative" punditry drew after reading this article in the Times' Travel section, which features the tiny, charming village of St. Michaels on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where both Cheney and Rumsfeld have vacation homes.
The most hideous gesture comes from a wingnut blog,
The Autonomist which is posting the personal and contact information of Linda Spillers, the NYTimes photographer who shot Rumsfeld's vacation retreat:
Linda J. Spillers is a talented photographer who works for the New York Times. One of Linda's best known photos is one she recently took of Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's vacation home. Now potential terrorists, crackpots and antiwar radicals will easily be able to find Donald's home! Isn't that wonderful?
I hope Linda wins a Pulitzer for her important work!
In the public interest, I've provided Linda's contact information. Be sure to let her know how great her photographic skills are and, of course, ask her where she'll be vacationing this summer. I wonder if there's a lens in the birdhouse of Linda's residence?
Inquiring minds want to know!
I'm not going to re-post this woman's info, though you can see it by going to this whackjob's site, which I suggest you do, and
click Blogger's "Flag" button at the top right of the screen. I've already done so and posted various comments.
How much more desperate and pathetic can these wingnutjobs get?
