It has been a long time since I've blogged here, but Michael Brown is telling all about the fatal mistakes that happened during Hurricane Katrina's landfall in the Gulf Coast.
And apparently, he is mincing no words. I'm writing this down at my blog
The AC Files and tell how I really feel. People really have a right to know what happened. I think that his words will open up a lot more eyes to see if the Bush Administration had ignored his warnings and see if they took the right course of action. And as we know right, they have not done one bit of it. I think that this is going to be the "wildcard" issue of the 2006 midterm elections. Why I have stated "wildcard" in this case? The reason is that is all depends on the reconstruction. And don't forget, June 1st is the start of another bad hurricane season. If the forecasters are right, then we could have even bigger problems if the Gulf Coast is not repaired. People are still living in apartments and shelters, which some of them may want to start their lives at a new city.
