Hawaii Representative Ed Case (related to AOL/Time Warner Steve Case) has decided to run against Senator Dan Akaka (He voted against the war) and against the establishment of the old line Democrats. He seems impatient to get on with his next career move, and in declaring his candidacy he is cutting in line, ahead of loyal Dem (he voted against the war) Representative Neil Abercrombie and in essence telling Akaka he is "too old" and to "get out of the way." Not good manners haole boy!
A Legend in His own Mind!
Case is really not very much of a Democrat anyway, voting for the war, continuing to support it even as late as 2005. And he is like Joe Lieberman, an undacover "Republican Lite" in my humble opinion. He certainly doesn't have the cojones of the old man Akaka and none of his contacts and good will in the Senate.
