Bush Cautions Against "Irresponsible Debate"
Yesterday in a speech to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Bush warned Democrats that THEY might harm the direction in which the war in Iraq is going. Hmmm...
LESSON 1: There are two types of debating.
* Irresponsible
(i.e. claiming that America acted in Iraq for oil, or because of Israel, or that the administration misled the American people)
Note: Mostly Democrats but there are always those traitors.
* Responsible
(i.e. questioning the way the war is being handled or just worship every decision made by the administration)
Note: Thanks Dick, Condi, and Donald Rumsfeld.
LESSON 2: The Path to Freedom.
To Sunnis: "Compromise and consensus and power-sharing are the only path to national unity and lasting democracy."
Note: Unless of course you're being occupied by another country, but then we'll just blame everything on the Democrats.
LESSON 3: Everyone Must Pay Up On Time.
To Government Officials Throughout the World: "I call on all governments that have pledged assistance to follow through with their promises as quickly as possible, so the Iraqis can rebuild their country and provide a better future for their children."
So to sum up today's lesson, Americans should never question the government; the Iraqis should stop whining because they are getting a DEMOCRACY; and oh yeah we still need that money, otherwise the American economy might get a little worse.
