As they say at the Toledo Storm, "Come on folks, let's Count 'Em Up!":
The writing isn't just on the wall for the Republican party in Ohio. It's tatooooooed on their foreheads. And if they lose Ohio this time 'round, the presidential election is practically a done deal in '08. Never fear, the far-right in Ohio is still going strong with their "ban gay adoption" amendment. Having scraped the bottom of the fish tank with their "Issue 1" last year, they're desperately trying to find something to get Ohio going again. A bunch of terrorist arrests accompanied by shake-in-your-boots rhetoric about terrorists living next door, a raft of gay-bashing laws, and a few presidential visits might...just might take Ohio's collective mind off the catastrophic failure that republican rule has meant in Ohio for the last few years. Keep your eyes on Ohio for the next six months, because I have a feeling that
Rove will make things very interesting.
