A boy in Rhode Island found out the hard way that writing negatively about your president in an open essay assignment can be quite the wrong thing to do.
A boy in West Warwick, Rhode Island was given a 7th grade homework assignment to write about his perfect day. What did he choose to write about? "Unspecified Violence against Bush, Coca-Cola, Walmart, and Oprah Winfrey" While I am not certain what Oprah Winfrey ever did to the boy, I am pretty sure that a 7th grader poses little threat to the US President. But the Secret Service isn't so sure.
And of course, the ACLU is involved.
A warning to students, make sure your teacher isn't a Bush supporter or you homework assignments may get you detention ... or on the FBI watchlist.
